Is it hazardous at all to have a door saddle for a bedroom door which goes onto a landing and is about a metre back from a stairway. The floor is uneven too. Do people ever trip over door saddles? are there any regulations about where you can put them?

well, our life sucked before baby was born, so right away, really. lol After baby number 1, I wasn't in a steady relationship with him, so it wasn't until baby was 8 months. How do you live with anxiety without medication?

I've starting have serious anxiety issues. I've been trying natural approaches and to control my thinking. I went to a psych. who only discouraged me. He made me feel that prescription medication was my only hope. I had a panic attack the evening I left his office cause I don't want to be on medication. My guy won't let me end the relationship, what to do?

Smoke inhalation, do i have it?

Ok, i spent 4 hours with a candle burning while i was working in my tiny bedroom, with the door closed and no windows open . It felt really cold in the house so it didn't stike me as odd when my lips were a tadd blue. When about to brush my teeth, i spit out black in the sink. Should we be tested for TB?

My brother just tested positive for TB. He lives in NJ and my family lives in Florida, however.....he was here visiting us 2 months ago right before he was tested. I don't think i would change much if anything. The only thing is that it would seem in the beginning it is sunset and that the curfew is at or near sunset. Occupant problem with apartments?

I visit my fiance in her apartment. I occasionally stay night. Mostly she stays with me. My apt. has no problem or even know or care. But her apt. is giving her lease violations for unauthorized guest. ? Saying that if somebody visits 6 times a month they need to be put down as an occupant. I find this hard to believe her lease says anybody that stays for 3 consecutive days. Nothing about visitors. If im correct an occupant is somebody living in the apt on a continuous basis. hi all! well, i arrived in victoria a week from today, on saturday i went for a sleepover to my friends place. she has a cat and dog, and i started feeling REALLY NASTY > sniffles, actually > constant need to blow nose, ALOT, and it was all mucusy and bloody! i DO have allergies! so i went to bed feeling nasty and woke up with an EXTREMELY sore throat, to the point i felt like crying. i felt like i had gunk in my mouth that tasted think and gross. we awoke at 5:00 in the morn cause her dog saw a deer in the yard > we were sleeping in the tent. so we got up and decided to go for a walk. so we did, and we ended up going to mcdonalds and grabbing a hot chocolat. it made my throat feel a bit better, and it also felt better after talking.before it felt dry and icky. later on, i was still blowing my nose, and still am... its raw and scally, because the skin is so dry. so around sun-mon-tue i started taking tylenol before bed because my ears started to hurt and it felt like they were plugged with air. i did the hole chewing gum/ hold yer nose and blow to make them pop but it only got worse! and even WORSE i started to spit up bloody thik and nasty snotty mucus! >.< its GROSS and horrible. since yesterday i have woken up with a dry empty feeling in my chest with a gross dry cough... I DONT KNOW WHAT IT IS! I think it'd be dull to have a leotard and a tutu the same color, especially in purple. Contrast is more interesting. Purple is a strong color that's hard to blend. White is safe with it and looks noble. Some grays can work too. Black is all right but dull with it. Pink or lilac would look good with it and have contrast to make the outfit interesting.

Ok im really depressed now and need to know what my future could be looking like from the POV of an older person. Im 16 and taking my gcse exams which are "apparently" the most important exams of my life as im leaving school now and going to be seeking further education or employment and there is obviously a recession in the uk. Im only taking 6 exams 2 for english 2 for maths and 2 for relegious studies and English, which is my strongest subject by far i have struggled to complete inside the time limit so i know that A i was relying on is now gone. I have maths tomorow and friday and i am awful at maths so to get a C will be a miracle. Relegious studies a C would also be pleasing. Everything else im doing is a BTEC which are not as significant as Gcse's and i dont think will match up to people leaving my school with 10 + gcse's, everywhere like colleges and 6th forms and apprenticeships require a minimum of 5 gcse's and i dont look set to even have that which is appaling and i am actually very intelligent but just not when it comes to maths, i dont have enough exams to prove im smart due to a reason im not going into, so is leaving with barely any gcse's the end of the world its really worryng me and i dont want to be a failure in life, please help.

6 months of soreness in muscles or bones below my collar bone?

In the upper ribs below my collar bone and the muscles near the socket of my shoulder - I have had soreness for 6 months. It feels very sore at time, kind of a dull pain. I have been to the doctor and all he says is that it is muscular-skeletal and I should ignore it and it will go away. but its been 6 months!! i have given up on my doctor!! can any one suggest things? is he right? are their other doctors should see (like neurologist- ive been to an orthodpedist also and he also said ignore it).

I just saw this Stossel show about how most Americans consider themselves politically independent, yet we all know that the U.S. is a 2 party system and it will be for a long time to come. With rare exceptions, a Republican or Democrat will always be elected. I think a lot of 'independents' are either predominantly conservative or predominantly liberal, so they will end up voting for a Republican or Democrat despite labeling themselves as independents. In this case, play starting at 150 with a half-time feel. Baby tears and eye boogers?

I have an 11 month old who knows who pap pap is. when my dad ped away my mom has his ashes up on her bookshelf. One day we went to visit her and out of the blue my son points to the urn and says "Pap Pap". I got goosebumps. I asked, "Do you see pap pap?" and he did it again. How do I treat red eye irritation?

I accidently overused a set of my soft contact lenses. i have new ones but i'm currently just going without contacts because my eyes get a little red still because of the irritation they suffered with my old ones. Make sure they have plenty of sunlight and try to keep them our of the direct path of the air conditioner. On a windowsill is an ideal spot. Give them about a cup of water every few days, with plenty of drainage and mist them with a very clean spray bottle that has never had cleaning chemicals in it, only water. A lot of water usually drains out of mine, so I will leave my wide mouth watering can under the pot to collect the water and allow the orchid to absorb additional moisture through the air. In the wild, they are air plants and will absorb all their water and nutrients through the air. Once it is done blooming, don't stop watering, although once a week is fine then. I am not going to object to it- I am actually looking at the same things however I am only 22 weeks along so I have a little while to go but I will start taking Red Raspberry Leaf tea at 36 weeks to strengthen my uterus. I am waiting that long because if it does cause me to go into labor then the baby will be fully developed and that is when it is recomended for use. 5 1/2 month Shepard Pup NOT housebroken!!?

having trouble housebreaking my little guy and I need HELP! He is a rescue he was on the way to the shelter at 5 weeks & a big part of the problem is that i was not prepared for a pup when I took him home. Very irresponsibly I had no crate and no means by which to isolate him excpet in my bedroom which also has wall to wall carpeting. We used puppy pads in the begining which i know is also created confusion about the appropriate potty areas. Needless to say we're five months down the road and now my carpets are destroyed & I can not get the smell of urine out of my apartment. I'm certain that because I can't get the smell fully out of the carpet it is confusing for him but the worst part is he gives almost no indication that he needs to go out. Overall he is a wonderful dog very mellow temperment not rambunctious follows commands walks well on a lease doesn't run off if he's off the lease he comes when he's called almost never barks etc. I don't think that there is a problem with leadership but rather that he just doesn't have a clear cut understanding of where the appropriate place to go is. Occasionally he will whine very subtly to go out but much of the time there is no indication. I will just hear him urinating in the next room or will walk into my bedroom for a second and come out to find he has eliminated on the hallway floor. We might have just gone out! I am trying to be as consistent as possible and offer lots of praise when he does go outside but honestly it seems to have gotten worse. There seems to be no schedule to when he has to go and I've tried limiting water and food to specific times makes no difference. I am ready to replace my carpets just to eliminate the scent problem. I am at such a loss! The strangest thing is that to the best of my understanding he has not had an accidents while I am at work. We go out as soon as I come home and it never seems like he's had an accident in the house while I was away but when I am home he often goes inside. I just don't understand. Anyone who has any info please I could so so so use your help

My dog won't let me bathe her!!?

I have had two dogs in the past and both were wonderful. They didn't like water but stayed in the tub until the bath was over (then they would jump out and spray me with me water but at least they were clean). I have this dog now and she smells really bad that it is getting intolerable. She is in dire need of a bath so I tried to put her in the tub and she gave me hell. Just picking her up was hard enough, she is so reluctant. Then I put her in the tub and she starts slipping (her nails were out and trying to cling to the tub but she couldn't) so she jumped out. I went and put a sheet in the tub so she wouldn't slip and went through hell to get her in the tub again (this time I smeared peanut er on the rim but she took no notice). When I got the shower hose and brought it over her she went BALLISTIC!! She tried to get out but I stood in her way then she eventually pushed through my legs and got out of the bathroom! I Just had my Oxygen Sensor replaced, and my temperature gauge is still on cold! help!?

Had issues with the engine-always felt like the fuel supply was cutting off (and temp was always cold). A diagnostics test said the oxygen sensor needed replacing, although the temp gauge is still ALWAYS on cold. It basically only warmed up once, after i got the new sensor. Im in highschool and right now i run about 2 miles a week. So heres basically my day foods: For breakfast i will usually just grab a bagel (no spread) on my way out of the door or sometimes a lean pocket breakfast/ waffels. Then around 2nd period i am starving and usually eat like 6 oreos or teddy grams or sometimes, but not most, slices of apples. then for lunch i have yogurt, ham on weat bread (no toppings, sometimes american white cheese) and a gronola bar and maybe some cookies or crackers if we have some. Im asking if this is a good athlete diet because it seems like i am always hungry and looking for food and all that i have to my convienence is processed snacks. thanks.

I work at a small town library full time, processing books while I obtain my Masters in Library Science. I have moved up to this position from Reference istant in the course of a year. I work full time and make $22,600/yr and am 32 years old (married.) While I worked Reference I was encouraged to start a club at the library, and I had, a yr ago. It is arguably the most successful club at the library. I also have organized several programs. I enjoy creating and doing new things that aren't in my job description, but recently I have felt unappreciated. Every time I organize and plan something well, the community applauds it and my supervisors are displeased. Just yesterday I was told I had to cancel my club meeting here after a year! My response was to tell my supervsiors that I will not be doing anything extra in the future. If I am not getting paid extra and they discourage me from planning and executing successful programs, why should I waste my time? What do you think?

How do you fix something called a nox censor for oil in your car?

our check engine light is on pretty much all the time. we took it to auto zone and had them test it. they said it was something called a nox censor. it costs about 90.00 to buy. today our car started smelling oil and then it stalled on a major highway. we got it safely to a parking lot and we sat there for over 2 hours before we got it running again. we put water in it. and tried to cool it off. we bought it on easter sunday. of 09' and we have had nothing but problems with the thermostat and other things since we bought it. it is a 99' subaru outback legacy. sometimes we have white smoke come out of the tail pipe. which tells us something is also wrong with the head gasket. Well I somehow got stretch marks on my sides this past winter, even though I am a thin, young and athletic male. I rubbed cocoa er and shea er on them constantly for months and saw very minor improvements as they are still very visible and red. So a few weeks ago i started using Mederma scar reducing gel and I have been seeing great results, some of the minor ones seem almost completely gone while the darker ones are still very noticeable but seem to be fading a little bit. Does this mean they might go away completely if i keep treating them while they are still red? I am only 19 and still baffled that i even got stretch marks in the first place.

I didn't say anything to my wife until like Tuesday. Should I be mad that I couldn't even get a thank-you? I guess she was entitled to a free roof. I'm done helping out there.

How can I stop feeling so lonely?

I seriously have no friends and only 2 family members: my mom and my sister. My sister hates me and my mom is always mad at me because of my no good "attitude". I am 19 and really feel so lonely. I am not a nerd or anything but I do not know why I feel like no one cares about me at all. I got into a big fight with my mom over school but that is another story(a long one) and so i blurted out: "I want to kill myself" I do not know where it came from but I was really hopeless and mad at the same time in the car. I could not help it but sit in my room and cry all day. I was really down and out about it all. Then my mom came in and told me this long old story of how I was thrown by my dad on the floor when i was an infant. So it was a pretty traumatic day and I do not know why I feel lonely but I do. She then told me that no one would care if I killed myself (besides herself, i ume/hope). well, maybe some encouragement will help me but other from that, I do not know much about loneliness except that i am suffering from it.

You need to kick your feet with more force to get them over your head. Also, try to bring them up at closer to the same time becasue your bottom foot's dragging you down. Over-sensitivity in the Physical Senses and Emotions?

I've had an extreme sensitivity in all of my senses and emotions since I was young. For example, when I smell something burnt, the scent is so overwhelming I get pretty close to curling up into a ball and crying. The sound of Styrofoam rubbing against itself or something similarly high-pitched has the same effect. I also recognize & differentiate tastes well, typically like bland foods (salad without dressing, cereal) and can’t eat anything with too many different flavors or textures. As for the emotional side, I am easily overwhelmed by guilt and moved by others’ emotions. Just the thought of having someone disappointed or angry at me is enough to evoke tears. I’m also often overly aware of surroundings, so even the familiar sounds and sights in my bedroom keep me up at night. Is this a disorder of some kind, or just my personality?
