Is it right that Forces housing 'must be improved'?

The leading story on the BBC news website today is that housing for members of our armed forces should be improved. I beg to differ. I think it would be irresponsible to give the gun toting s anything have decent as they'd only destroy it themselves anyway. This we know, because at some stage the property pictured was obviously brand new. What happened to it? Well if we look at pictures from Baghdad we can see how they behave there so why wouldn't they do the same at home. Discuss.
