Can i use my vac cleaner to clean my Sony LCD computer monitor?

And if yes then should i use the suction option (one which sucks the dirt) or the blower option (which blows away the dirt). I am a bit apprehensive coz both of the options have gr8 speed so i am scared it might damage my screen or something.
