A question about if a door saddle is hazardous?

Is it hazardous at all to have a door saddle for a bedroom door which goes onto a landing and is about a metre back from a stairway. The floor is uneven too. Do people ever trip over door saddles? are there any regulations about where you can put them?

What does a doctor do when they get sick?

They go to another doctor! I guess...Or they could treat themselves. If they have something as little as a cold, I'm sure the hospital will still let them work.

Intimacy after childbirth?

well, our life sucked before baby was born, so right away, really. lol After baby number 1, I wasn't in a steady relationship with him, so it wasn't until baby was 8 months. We were doing it like rabbits, but I was on loestrin24. Normally I have a low drive - that's why he wants me back on it! - but for the few months I was on it, it helped. I had a c-section with both. Second time kicked my .... It's hard to get comfy when you have a baby taking up your energy, time, and mental stamina. Take a break. Leave baby with grandma and go to a movie. Have a second honey moon. My hubby is in the service and as soon as we can, we are going to do that, take a break. I'm scared to leave my babies with a sitter and we just got reunited a few months ago and moved away from my mom and his, but when we are out together everything is so much better.... remember, intimacy starts outside the bedroom. If a man woos you during the day you are more likely to respond well to him at night. You know the confuscious say saying: "man who fights with wife all day long, gets no PIECE at night" lol

How to talk to a friend about some things?

She and I have been best friends since 1st grade and are very inseparable. We consider each other as sisters. But lately its been harder to talk to her about certain things. She and I are now in College and going to the same college, just different majors. Ok at the college you are supposed to register for the next quarter of cles on the 7th week. My friend had to wait til Dec 15 to register. I got mine registered on the 7th week. She didn't make her biology score of a B- but got a c+. She is now making excuses on everything. Like if I want to take a walk with her or about her cl schedule. Some of her excuses are that it is too hot/cold/wet/ or dry to take a walk or that her tuition money won't pay for any other cl but the one she got recently. Her grandparents and I have gone around and around about it. I am now walking on eggshells with her because I have 12 credit hours of cles and a 3.9 GPA. So how do I talk to her??? I am sick of her excuses but I don't want to abandon her. She is my sister through and through.

Job enrichment appeals to which of Maslow's hierarchy of needs?

This could be social needs, esteem needs, &/or self actualization, depending if you are doing it to be a part of a group, boost your own feelings of self worth, or just because it's the right thing to do.

Is a Porsche 914 (circa 1973) a decent car?

My dad bought a 914 years ago and has been restoring it plus rebulding and beefing up the engine (I think he said it has 130 hp right now (I think the original had like 80 hp) with a curb weight of just over a ton). A friend of mine who doesn't like old cars and only cares about new ones said it was a "poor man's Porsche" and pretty much a piece of sh*t. He has a VW R32 he's always bragging about, and while it may be faster than my dad's, it's also 1,000-1,500 lbs heavier. I don't really care if my dad's car can beat my friends, but I want to know if my dad's car is really that bad, or if my friend is simply prejudiced.
