Freemasons that actually understand and agin from the degrees?

Curious what you feel the perecentage of MAsons that join and gain at least 80 understanding of the rituals and understand the concept of Freemasonry? If you feel the number is low, do you think something should be changed? ALso any realted commentary would be acceptable.
