What Do You Think About The U.S. Marines Blasting James Cameron's "Avatar"?

Although the people in the movies are "marines" they are not effectively Marines anymore...It is stated that they WERE Marines, but now have been discharged and become a PMC (private Military company)...That is why you see a private company ordering around a Marine colonel, no a politician.
