Is a loveless relationship meaningless?

Relationships built out of necessity (IE, a child born out of wedlock and the responsibilities that entails, etc.) exist, albeit not very healthily. They work out of necessity, not love. So yes, a loveless relationship can exist, is not meaningless, but does not merit my suggestion for a happy life.
